The Vacaville Public Education Foundation (VPEF) Board announces that $21,500.00 is now available for mini grants for the VUSD Staff and Teachers. VPEF is emphasizing the following areas with these grants:
- Educational Enrichment. Projects that help make the current curriculum come alive for students such as a field trips, assembly, community service, or special class project.
- Exploration Opportunities. Projects that expose the students to potentially new interests (music, photography, gardening, construction, etc.) or to career fields that might spark an interest in further learning.
You download the VPEF Fall 2009 Mini Grant Information form and submit by 5PM on Oct. 9th.

Just wanted to thank VPEF for their mini-grant of $500.00. This money along with donations from our PTC will provide Callison families and students with two events; Journey through the human body; an assembly for 4-6 grades on March 1st and Health In Your World, a Family Science Night March 2nd.
