Community Donations
The students of the Vacaville Unified School District count on the community for support. If we, as a community, want to maintain a high standard of living for the future of Vacaville, we all must help our young people on the road to success. The Vacaville Public Education Foundation has raised and contributed just over $2 million in 5 years to assist in core curriculum and support music, sports and art that are vital to building a well-rounded adult.
Levels of Support
Individual Support
Individual and family support can go a very long way it we all pull together as a community. Feel free to pledge as little or as much as you like. Here are some examples of how your money can enrich the lives of students:
- $25 buys a student textbook
- $50 enrolls a low-income student in an after-school tennis or language class
- $100 buys a scanner for classroom use
- $200 pays for a bus for two classes to go on a field trip to Discovery Museum
- $500 pays for a visit from Explorit Science Center
Business Support
We understand that businesses count on the success and the ability of students to compete in the global market for their sustainability and future growth. The students of today are the future leaders of the Vacaville business community.
