Enriching Students
Since its inception in 2003, the Vacaville Public Education Foundation, in a partnership with the community of Vacaville, continues to raise funds for the students of the Vacaville Unified School District (VUSD). Programs that educate, enrich and keep children healthy have successfully continued despite the fluctuation of continuous outside economic factors. Sports, music, enrichment, and more help our students become well-rounded adults and ready to compete in the global economy.
The Vacaville Public Education Foundation is a stand alone entity apart from the Vacaville Unified School District, however, we work closely together. Created as part of the VUSD’s strategic plan in 2003, the Vacaville Public Education Foundation works closely with the VUSD in order to achieve goals we set together to better the needs of our students.
The Vacaville Public Education Foundation serves schools within the VUSD by working strategically with the VUSD to determine the yearly needs of the schools based on economic factors that may affect our schools on a local, state or federal level.
The children themselves have told us that their lives are indeed bettered by the programs that continue to run and all that the Vacaville Public Education Foundation has done for them and their schools. We would like to thank the students that have shared their thoughts and appreciation with us, and share their comments with you, our donors.
